Privacy policy
Last updated: August 2026
Dropbell is designed to hold as little data about you as possible. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and how to get rid of it.
If you just browse the site
We don't set cookies and we don't use third-party tracking. Anonymous, aggregate visit statistics are collected with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across sites. That's why there's no cookie banner: there's nothing to consent to.
If you sign up for alerts (when they launch)
We will hold exactly three things:
- Your email address — to send you the alerts you asked for.
- Your watchlist — the products and rules you set.
- Your preferences — for example whether you want the weekly digest.
Sign-in is by magic link sent to your email; we never store passwords. We will ask for explicit consent at signup, and the weekly digest is clearly labelled and can be turned off independently of alerts. Every email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or share your email address or watchlist with anyone.
- Buy data about you or enrich your profile from other sources.
- Send you anything you didn't sign up for.
Who processes your data
The site and database run on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery provider, which processes your email address on our behalf in order to deliver mail. Retailers you click through to receive no personal data from us — affiliate links identify Dropbell as the referrer, not you.
Your rights and deletion
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deletion is simple because there's so little: email hello@dropbell.co.uk from the address you signed up with and we'll delete your account and watchlist completely. Unsubscribing from all email and requesting deletion are honoured without quibbling.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects signed-up users, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
